Three Great Reasons to JOIN

1. Resource
The Chamber offers a variety of platforms to market and promote your business, referral systems and membership tracking reports, training seminars and programs, and a dedicated staff to help you determine your best course of action. Our HR Council is a powerful group that allows HR professionals and business owners to stay up-to-date on the latest legal and employment issues. We’re also proud to leverage our many partnerships with other organizations when you're looking for specific support and information.

2. Advocate
1,000+ Chamber members serving as one voice impact issues and affect public policy. The Chamber effectively advocates for you on the local, state and national levels. We plan and design a legislative agenda with member input that prioritizes economic growth.
The Chamber’s Public Policy Committee helps shape state legislation and regulations that affect our members and we retain a lobbyist, Armando Paolino, who represents our positions and concerns at the State Capitol, as well as a strong relationship with the CT Business and Industry Association.  We maintain routine contact with our U.S Congressmen and Senators on issues of importance to businesses and nonprofits.

3. Network
In this time of social distancing, the Chamber has shifted to provide many virtual networking opportunities to connect members and help grow their sphere of influence. Our digital marketing and promotion opportunities, including our newsletter, social media, and advertising opportunities, offer ways for members to share their latest news, events and promotions.

Typically, the Chamber hosts over 80 events a year and has five Business Connection Groups.  These events and groups draw hundreds of business people and allow Chamber members to expand their business contacts throughout our region, often leading to new clients, customers and opportunities.
